- Excavation of the existing ground to a depth of approx 200mm – 300mm below dpc.
- Laying of membrane.
- Compaction of Type 1 MOT aggregate or ready-mixed C20/25 concrete.
- Retaining borders to be cemented in and haunched with concrete.
- If impermeable paving, the required drainage will then be installed, e.g. aco drains, gully’s, manhole lids, land drains
